The Story

Humanity has reached a point where distances that once seemed impossible can be crossed in an instant. Faster-than-light travel has opened the galaxy, but the discovery that there are dimensions beyond their own presents an entirely new challenge. Traveling between them proves far more difficult than anyone anticipated, and repeated attempts produce more questions than answers.

On Epsilon, the mysterious sphere that has been quietly active for generations suddenly becomes more important than anyone realizes. A question asked by Soren Kael produces an answer that changes humanity's understanding of the universe and reveals possibilities far beyond anything they had imagined.

When an ordinary FTL transition unexpectedly fails, the ship's computer delivers a message no one has ever seen before:

INVALID TRANSITION PATH.
